Arabic & English language settings

Plixa is built for Arabic and English from the ground up. You can publish your site in one language or both, and right-to-left layout is handled for you.

Help CenterGetting started

01Set your site's language

In the editor, open Settings → Languages and choose your primary language — the default language your content is written in. This is separate from the language of the Plixa dashboard itself.

02Right-to-left layout, handled automatically

When your content is in Arabic, Plixa mirrors the layout to right-to-left — text alignment, navigation, and section flow all adjust to read naturally. You never have to set this up by hand.

03Building a bilingual site

To offer your site in both languages, turn on Add a second language in Settings → Languages. A language switcher then appears in the editor topbar — use it to choose which language you are editing and translate each section. Anything you have not translated falls back to your primary language.

04Dashboard language vs. site language

These are two different things. Your site's language is what your visitors see; the dashboard language is the language of the Plixa interface you work in. To change the interface language, see Switching dashboard language.

Your header and footer stay consistent across both languages, so you only set up your navigation once.
