Connecting an existing domain
Already own a domain? You can point it at your Plixa site in a few minutes by adding two DNS records at your registrar.
01Connect it in Plixa
In the Custom domain panel, choose "I own the domain", enter your domain, and connect. Plixa then shows the exact records to add — copy them to follow along.
02Add the A record (apex)
For your bare domain (yourbusiness.com), add an A record with host @ pointing to 76.76.21.21.
03Add the CNAME (www)
For the www version (www.yourbusiness.com), add a CNAME record pointing to cname.vercel-dns.com.
04Verify
Plixa may also show a TXT verification record — add it too if so. Once your DNS changes are live, your domain verifies automatically; press Re-check if you'd like to refresh the status sooner.
Add records exactly as shown — a stray space or a wrong host is the most common reason a domain stays on Pending DNS. Changes can take a few minutes to 48 hours to spread (see DNS propagation explained).
