SSL certificate status

SSL is the certificate that puts the padlock in the browser and serves your site over secure https. Plixa sets it up for you — no manual steps.

01Automatic SSL

Every Plixa site is served over https — including your plixa.io address. When you connect a custom domain, a certificate is issued for it automatically once the domain verifies.

02What the statuses mean

  • SSL provisioning — the certificate is being issued, right after your domain verifies
  • SSL active — your domain is fully secured and serving over https

03If SSL seems stuck

SSL can only be issued after your domain verifies, so a stuck certificate almost always means DNS isn't fully set up yet. Confirm your records are correct, give propagation time, then press Re-check.

You never have to buy, upload, or renew an SSL certificate on Plixa — it's included and renews on its own.
